Ginny & Georgia is a new comedy and drama series on Netflix about a young mother and her children who are trying to settle in a new town after years on the run. Georgia gave birth to her daughter Ginny when she was a teenager, and ever since then has been trying to get by despite the challenges thrown at her. Due to toxic relationships and living situations, Georgia has done everything she can to keep her kids safe, even if it meant lying and breaking the law.

As Georgia and her family find a new home and begin a fresh start, Ginny finds herself fitting in and making friends for the first time in her life. Shortly after moving, Ginny has a group of new friends, a boyfriend, and even a new job. Georgia also has a new job working for the mayor and an opportunity to get involved with the community.

As the series continues, we get a look into Georgia’s past life and what led her to do the things that she did. Ginny continues to build a name for herself and starts doing more of the common high school activities. Relationships start to become more complicated for Georgia and her daughter as they struggle to find a man that is best for them. Through it all, they are still learning to accept and love themselves.

I love this show because the episodes are fast paced and always end with a cliff hanger. The acting is so good and I love the relationships that were build between the characters. You can tell that they were comfortable and has fun working with each other.

I really enjoyed this show because Ginny is a sophomore in high school and going through similar situations to me. I like how I can relate to the events in the show and I can also get a glimpse into the lives of other people and what they go through. The main message for the show is that you never know what people could be going through and that everyone has their own internal battles.

I recommend this show to anyone but specifically high schoolers and teenagers that think that they are alone in the world. Although people have differences and insecurities, this series brings light to all groups of people and can help you realize that you are not alone.
